„Multivitamin for Biogas“
Ground-breaking ceremony of a biogas- and composting plant
In February 2008 the ground
breaking for a biogas- and composting plant in India has been started. The
project for the Indian major enterprise Jain
Irrigation Systems Ltd. in Jalgaon will be realized by our subsidiary
company BMK-INNOVAS GmbH (in cooperation with BioEnergie Schwaben
GmbH, Erkheim/Germany).
Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd is the biggest Indian
fruit juice concentrate manufacturer (for example mango, banana and
pomegranate). The plant will be used to dispose the daily fruit refuse of
250t, for example cores and fruit skin, environment-friendly and to produce
biogas and compost out of it. The biogas is used to generate electricity by
3 CHP-modules with totally 1.5MWel, simultaneous 1t/h steam can be decoupled
for the production.
The high quality compost will be used at the greenhouses and on the
plantations of the company Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd for fruit growing.
Consequently the material cycle is closed and the waste disposal concept of
the company is optimized.
