Savings potential by anaerobic wastewater treatmentPresentation by Anselm J. Gleixner and Stefan Reitberger at Zentrum Energie, TerraTec 99, Leipzig on 2nd march 1999 In cleaning highly polluted wastewater the anaerobic technology (biogas technology) offersclear advantages compared to common wastewater treatment technique. In raw aerobic wastewater treatment the carbon compound in the wastewater are mainly oxidisede to CO2 and are deposited as sewage sludge (dead bactery mass). Contrawise in anaerobic technology the carbon concentration of the wastewater is almost completely converted into biogas. The amount of sewage sludge is very low... >> Download the complete text as pdf (only available in German!): INNOVAS - Biogas
